I can't be myself.Everyone says, be yourself, but I’m not just one person. I’m my grandparents home cooked meals and apple pies at Thanksgiving. I’m my younger brother’s countless hours of video games, piled on months of skill and determination. I’m my best friend’s tears about life’s struggles and my mother’s Catholic morals. I’m my uncle’s quiet detachment from the family that whispers the guarantee of peace and quiet. I am my father’s careless lifestyle and my cousin’s drinking problem. I am my aunt’s shopping addiction and my b I can't be myself.

I'm not a virgin.I’m not a virgin to the world. Do me a favor and don’t treat me as if I’m an incompetent child who can’t handle the birds and the bees of life, I’m more than ready for the truth. Don’t treat me as if I’ve never seen the way hate works, unbelievably striving to smolder the life from love. I’ve watched lives unravel like cheap ribbon and I’ve listened to people beat one another over the amount of money in their bank accounts. I listen like the insomniac I am to those sounds, pounding, crashing, breaking, marveling at how they sound like the angst ridden tee I'm not a virgin.

You have no "friends", just carbon copies of yourself lying about who they really are? Do you ever feel like... You have absolutely no understanding anymore for the one's you trusted so easily? Do you ever feel like...

I really don't know where I'm supposed to be going with the "Do you ever feel like's", but I'm not here to live in terms of you're feelings. I'm my own person and that's how I like it. I'm sick and tired of finding people who don't know who the hell they are. I'm tired of seeing people change right before my eyes just to make others happy. I'm tired of just watching people who become a new person every goddamned day. The world doesn't live to please you, don't live to please the world. There's no happiness if you can't be yourself.
